Strong oppositions against ‘Evandi Unna Pethan’ from 'Vaanam'

While the promotions for the song ‘Evandi Unna Pethan’ are rising to the peak with vivid promotions by Cloud Nine Movies Dayanidhi Azhagiri, the oppositions have raised at the other end. All India Women’s Protection Organization Leader Shanthi has now lodged complaint against Simbhu that he must delete the song. This is because the lyrics have so many obscene meanings that hurt the feelings of women. The first line ‘Evandi Unna Pethan Avan Kaila Kadaicha Sethan’ is very degrading and it will be used as a sort of ragging upon women. The line ‘Un Maanam Kaakira Melaadai Naanthan’ is so vulgar again.

Adding more in her complaint, Shanthi has mentioned that Silambarasan usually victimizes women as the center of attraction for his movies. Manmadhan was also a movie targeting women who cheat.Previously he followed the same pattern of promotions by having sickening posters of Liplock throughout the cities.
